**ABOUT THE ROLE**

A leading, internationally accredited healthcare provider in the UAE is seeking a highly skilled Specialist Vascular Surgeon to join its growing surgical team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive vascular surgical care, including the assessment, diagnosis and management of patients with arterial, venous and peripheral vascular conditions.

**ROLE OVERVIEW**

The successful candidate will work within a collaborative, multidisciplinary clinical environment supported by experienced consultants, surgeons, nurses, allied health professionals and modern surgical and diagnostic infrastructure.

The role involves providing high-quality vascular surgical services while maintaining patient safety, clinical excellence and compliance with international healthcare standards.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

-   Assess, diagnose and manage patients with arterial, venous and peripheral vascular conditions.
-   Perform vascular surgical procedures in accordance with clinical privileges and scope of practice.
-   Manage conditions including peripheral arterial disease, venous disease, aneurysms, vascular occlusive disease and other vascular disorders.
-   Perform and assist with procedures such as vascular access, angioplasty, stenting, thrombectomy, varicose vein procedures and other appropriate vascular interventions.
-   Conduct pre-operative assessments, obtain informed consent and develop appropriate treatment plans.
-   Provide post-operative care and monitor patients for complications and clinical outcomes.
-   Work closely with interventional radiology, cardiology, general surgery, oncology, nephrology, emergency and critical care teams.
-   Review and interpret relevant diagnostic imaging, including Doppler ultrasound, CT angiography and other vascular investigations.
-   Maintain accurate clinical documentation, patient records and procedural reports.
-   Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical governance, quality improvement and service development initiatives.
-   Maintain compliance with infection control, patient safety and UAE healthcare regulatory standards.

## Requirements

Applications are welcome from internationally trained Specialist Vascular Surgeon candidates holding recognised qualifications such as:

-   American Board or equivalent recognised specialist qualification
-   UK CCT / FRCS with recognised vascular surgery training
-   European Board certification or equivalent
-   Royal College Certification (Canada)
-   Australian FRACS or equivalent recognised qualification
-   Arab Board
-   MD / MS / DNB / FCPS or equivalent recognised specialist qualification in Vascular Surgery
