## Description

Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking an experienced Senior Manager - Design (Structural) to join our Sports Business Unit. This role is critical in leading and managing all structural design activities for sports-related projects, ensuring engineering excellence and alignment with overall project goals. You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to deliver innovative, safe, and sustainable structural design solutions for world-class sports facilities.

### Key Responsibilities:

-   Lead the structural design process from concept development to detailed design and construction documentation.
-   Ensure that all structural designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and best practices.
-   Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure seamless integration of structural systems into various projects.
-   Manage and mentor a team of structural engineers and designers, providing guidance and support throughout the design process.
-   Review and approve design calculations, drawings, and specifications.
-   Conduct risk assessments and analyses to identify potential design challenges and implement effective solutions.
-   Manage external consultants, ensuring deliverables are met to specification and schedule. Collaborate with project leads to establish project scope, budget, and timelines.
-   Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders, ensuring design milestones are achieved.
-   Promote sustainable design practices and contribute to the advancement of green building initiatives within Qiddiya projects

## Requirements

-   Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Structural Engineering or related field.
-   7+ years of relevant experience in structural design, preferably with a focus on sports facilities or large-scale infrastructure projects.
-   Proven experience leading structural design teams and managing complex projects.
-   Strong knowledge of structural analysis software such as SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD.Pro, or equivalent.
-   Familiarity with international building codes and standards relevant to sports facilities.
-   Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
-   Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment.
-   Experience in the Middle East or similar markets is a plus.
