## Description

Qiddiya is Saudi Arabia’s future capital of entertainment, sports, and culture, bringing together world-class hospitality, leisure, entertainment, and mixed-use assets within one of the Kingdom’s most ambitious developments.

The role will provide owner-side oversight of asset condition, engineering performance, lifecycle planning, maintenance strategies, capital investment, operational readiness, and technical risk. Working closely with internal teams, operators, consultants, and service providers, the Director will ensure assets are safe, compliant, reliable, efficient, and maintained to world-class standards.

This is an opportunity to shape the long-term performance of complex destination assets and protect their operational reliability, guest experience, sustainability, and long-term value.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Develop technical asset strategies, lifecycle plans, and capital investment priorities.
-   Lead asset condition assessments, technical due diligence, and engineering audits.
-   Oversee asset reliability, maintenance performance, statutory compliance, and technical risk.
-   Review and challenge operator and facilities management technical plans, budgets, and performance.
-   Support design reviews, testing, commissioning, operational readiness, and asset handover.
-   Manage defects, warranties, asset information, and technical documentation.
-   Lead technical input into refurbishment, enhancement, and capital projects.
-   Drive improvements in energy efficiency, sustainability, asset condition, and whole-life cost.
-   Prepare technical recommendations and reports for senior leadership.

## Requirements

-   Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Structural, Building Services Engineering, Facilities Management, Construction Management, or a related discipline.

-   15+ years of experience in technical asset management, engineering, facilities management, building operations, or capital planning.
-   Strong experience with complex operating assets and major building systems.
-   Experience in lifecycle planning, maintenance strategy, capex development, commissioning, handover, and defect management.
-   Strong understanding of MEP systems, fire and life safety, HSE, sustainability, and statutory compliance.
-   Experience within hospitality, mixed-use, entertainment, leisure, real estate, or large-scale destination assets is preferred.
-   Relevant professional certification such as Chartered Engineer, CFM, PMP, RICS, or IAM is preferred.
