**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Solution Architect with a strong background in Amazon Web Services (AWS) to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal to an enterprise digital platform project within the banking sector. You will be instrumental in collaborating with our engineering and DevOps teams to conceptualize, design, and implement scalable, secure, and highly reliable cloud solutions. Your expertise will ensure that our architectural visions are not only technically sound but also practically implementable, driving the success of our digital transformation initiatives.

  

**Key Responsibilities**

-   Design and architect robust cloud infrastructure and comprehensive solution architectures specifically on the AWS platform.
-   Define and document clear architecture and integration strategies for various systems, leveraging patterns such as APIs, event-driven architectures, batch processing, and real-time data streams.
-   Conduct thorough reviews of technical designs to rigorously ensure adherence to best practices in scalability, security, reliability, and operational readiness.
-   Collaborate closely and effectively with cross-functional teams including DevOps, backend, frontend, data engineering, and machine learning specialists to translate high-level solution designs into actionable implementation plans.
-   Actively participate in and support technical discovery phases, providing accurate effort estimations and identifying potential risks.
-   Develop detailed architecture diagrams, comprehensive technical documentation, and clear implementation recommendations for stakeholders.
-   Clearly articulate technical trade-offs, benefits, and challenges to both engineering teams and business stakeholders, fostering informed decision-making.

  

**Required Skills & Qualifications**

-   **A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure architecture, solution architecture, or a related technical leadership role.**
-   Demonstrated and strong experience in designing and implementing solutions on the AWS cloud platform.
-   A solid understanding of core cloud infrastructure components, including networking, storage solutions, database services, security best practices, Identity and Access Management (IAM), monitoring tools, and disaster recovery strategies.
-   Proven experience with API integration, designing and implementing microservices architectures, or working with event-driven architectural patterns.
-   Proficiency in creating clear and concise architecture diagrams and detailed technical documentation.
-   Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong stakeholder communication and interpersonal skills.
-   Sufficient English communication proficiency to engage in technical discussions and produce technical documentation.

  

**Additional Information**

**Nice to Have:** Experience with DevOps methodologies and tools such as CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, containerization technologies like Docker, and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes, EKS, or OpenShift. Exposure to MLOps platforms, machine learning deployment pipelines, or model monitoring systems is also highly valued. Prior experience within the banking, fintech industries, or on large-scale enterprise projects would be a significant advantage. Holding an AWS certification or an equivalent cloud certification is a plus.
