# Firewall Administrator

**Client: Utitlities Company**

**Position: Firewall Administrator**

**Term: 1 year contract**

**Pay: $57/Hr - $60/Hr**

**Location: Tampa, FL 3 days on site**

**Note: After hours work should be expected for implementations 7pm EST or MT at least once a week.**

**Work Authorization: USC or GC ONLY**

**Experience:**

-   3+ Years of experience upgrading, deploying, and implementing new firewalls
-   VPN knowledge: creation, configuration, troubleshooting
-   Understanding of ICS protocols (ICS, Modbus, CIP) -Experience in a Regulatory business (Socs, Nerc cip, etc)
-   **Check Point Firewalls preferred**, but experience with some firewall platform in Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, Cisco or Sophos
-   Fundamental Understanding of routing and switching

**Responsibilities:**

-   Supporting firewall tickets and investigations
-   Troubleshooting Firewalls and creating firewall rules if it doesn’t work.
-   Their time will be spent implementing new VPNs and troubleshooting VPNs.
-   They will be supporting multiple large firewall upgrades in the organization.
