**Project Manager/ Functional Consultant** 

**(ERP – Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central)**

  

**Work Location**

Onsite – Kunming, Yunnan Province, China

  

**Position Summary**

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager cum Functional Consultant to lead and deliver a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central implementation project for our client in Kunming, China.

This is a hands-on role requiring the candidate to manage the end-to-end project lifecycle while actively driving business process discussions, solution design, functional documentation, system validation, user training, and go-live support.

The successful candidate will work full-time onsite at the client's premises for the duration of the project.

  

**Key Responsibilities**

  

**Project Management**

-   •  Lead the ERP implementation project from project initiation through go-live and stabilization.
-   •  Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, risks, and issue logs.
-   •  Coordinate activities between the client, business users, technical consultants, and offshore delivery teams.
-   •  Conduct project status meetings and provide regular progress reports to stakeholders.
-   •  Manage project scope, change requests, risks, dependencies, and escalations.
-   •  Ensure project delivery meets agreed timelines, quality standards, and budget.

Functional Consulting

-   •  Conduct business requirement gathering workshops with key stakeholders.
-   •  Analyze current business processes and recommend best-practice solutions using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
-   •  Prepare functional design documents, process flows, gap analysis, and configuration documentation.
-   •  Configure standard Business Central functionalities where applicable.
-   •  Work closely with technical consultants on customizations, integrations, and reports.
-   •  Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect management, and solution validation.
-   •  Deliver end-user training and prepare user documentation.
-   •  Provide post-go-live support during the stabilization period.

  

**Required Skills & Experience**

-   •  8+ years of ERP implementation experience.
-   •  Minimum 3 years of experience as a Project Manager leading ERP implementation projects.
-   •  Strong functional consulting experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or Microsoft Dynamics NAV.
-   •  Experience implementing core ERP modules such as **Finance, Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, Manufacturing,** or **Warehouse Management**
-   •  Strong understanding of business processes across finance and supply chain.
-   •  Experience working with cross-functional and offshore implementation teams.
-   •  Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
-   •  Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
-   •  Strong documentation and presentation skills.

  

**Mandatory Requirements**

-   •  Fluent Mandarin (spoken and written) – Mandatory
-   •  Good English communication skills.
-   •  Willing to relocate and work onsite in Kunming, Yunnan Province, China for the full 12-month contract.
-   •  Valid passport and ability to travel if required.

  

**Preferred Qualifications**

-   •  Experience in manufacturing or distribution industries.
-   •  Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central functional certification.
-   •  Experience working in multinational project environments.
-   •  Knowledge of project management methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall.

  

**Contract Details**

-   •  Contract Duration: 24 Months
-   •  Work Location: Kunming, Yunnan Province, China
-   •  Working Arrangement: Full-time onsite
