If making an impact and having a seat at the table is important to you, this is the opportunity for you. Join our small, rapidly growing team and help power the next generation of AI acceleration.

**THE ROLE**

As Quadric scales through its Series C and beyond, we are building out the financial infrastructure to match. The Controller will be a key member of our Finance team, working directly with the CFO to own the day-to-day accounting operations and help establish the scalable processes that will carry Quadric toward its next phase of growth. This is a hands-on role in a lean team—ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-moving startup environment and wants to be a core contributor, not just a cog in a large finance org.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

- Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process, including preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analyses.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with US GAAP.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely processing and accurate recording of transactions.
- Oversee payroll processing in coordination with HR; ensure proper classification and recording of compensation, benefits, and equity-related expenses.
- Maintain and reconcile the general ledger; identify and resolve discrepancies proactively.
- Lead and support the annual external audit, coordinating with auditors and preparing required schedules and documentation.
- Assist with federal and state tax filings, working alongside external tax advisors.
- Support budget preparation, re-forecasting, and financial planning activities in collaboration with the Controller and leadership team.
- Design, implement, and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial data integrity.
- Manage and continuously improve accounting systems and tools (e.g., NetSuite); drive automation and process efficiency across the finance function.
- Provide financial reporting and ad-hoc analysis to support business decisions.
- Assist with equity administration, including stock option tracking and related accounting entries.

## Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA license required (or actively in pursuit of CPA designation).
- 6+ years of progressive accounting experience; a mix of public accounting (Big 4 or regional firm) and industry (technology or startup) strongly preferred.
- Deep, working knowledge of US GAAP, financial reporting standards, and internal controls.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems; NetSuite experience is a strong plus.
- Demonstrated ability to manage the full accounting close cycle independently.
- Experience supporting external audits and coordinating with external auditors.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in an ambiguous, fast-paced startup environment with minimal process overhead.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills—comfortable presenting financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; comfort with financial modeling and data analysis.
