At Quento Technologies S.A., we empower our people to innovate and lead in delivering transformative ICT solutions to our clients worldwide. Quento Technologies seeks a highly motivated and experienced **Virtualization Engineer.**  
  
**Responsibilities:**

-   Administering the virtual computing environment (such as VMware vSphere);
-   Administering monitoring solutions for virtual environments;
-   Patch management;
-   Managing backups and restores;
-   Administering, supporting and monitoring of hardware servers, fibre optic fabrics and data storage;
-   Troubleshooting of virtual environments;
-   Tuning, optimizing and capacity planning;
-   Recommending and implementing best practices and security standards;
-   Updating the technical documentation and operating procedures;
-   Implementing changes according to ICT change management procedures;
-   Providing 2nd line support to other IT teams and coordinating with 3rd line of support;
-   Participation in coordination and project meetings;
-   Other specific duties aligned to profile as assigned by supervisor;
-   Ensuring that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements and supporting the continued implementation of the Group Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy.

## Requirements

-   University degree;
-   Minimum 5 years of IT professional experience;
-   Minimum 2 years of experience in similar position;
-   Nutanix Certified Professional - Multicloud Infrastructure certificate (NCP-MCI);
-   Experience with Vmware vSAN;
-   Experience with HPE SAN Storage arrays (e.g., HPE Primera);
-   Experience in administration of complex and large virtual environments (such as VMware vSphere or Nutanix);
-   Experience with virtual environments’ monitoring tools (such as VMware Aria Operations);
-   Experience updating and upgrading virtual environments and related products;
-   Knowledge of TCP/IP networking;
-   Experience in collaborating with multiple support groups;
-   Experience with ticketing systems and ITIL based change management, configuration management and release management processes;
-   Vmware VCP-DCV 6.X or higher or related similar certificate;
-   Very good knowledge of the English language (B2).
