Quento Technologies S.A. seeks a highly motivated and experienced **Solution Architect** to act as the end-to-end architecture owner for a regulated digital payments platform and serve as the main liaison with the client Architecture team. In this role, you will maintain architectural integrity across customer channels, API gateway, experience APIs, microservices, event-driven architecture, data stores, security controls, cloud infrastructure, observability, and third-party integrations

Your responsibilities will entail:

-   Own and govern the end-to-end solution architecture across business, application, integration, data, security, infrastructure, and operational domains;
-   Act as the primary architecture liaison with the client Architecture team and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture principles and security standards;
-   Maintain and evolve HLDs, LLDs, architecture diagrams, integration views, data flow views, security architecture, and architecture decision records;
-   Govern solution design across mobile apps, web apps, Merchant Back Office, PSD2 APIs, API Gateway, Identity Server, Kafka/RedPanda, SignalR, SQL Server, MongoDB, Redis, AKS, WAF, firewall, SIEM, and Azure services;
-   Review and approve designs related to authentication, authorization, OAuth2, SCA, SSL pinning, HTTP signatures, TLS/mTLS, Key Vault, encryption, RBAC, monitoring, and auditability;
-   Support impact assessment for change requests, integration changes, regulatory requirements, non-functional requirements, and operational readiness;
-   Provide architecture guidance to Technical Leads, DevSecOps, QA, Business Analysts, and development teams during sprint delivery;
-   Ensure solution decisions consider resilience, high availability, scalability, maintainability, observability, security, and compliance;
-   Ensuring that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements and supporting the continued implementation of the Group Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy.

## Requirements

-   University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field;
-   Senior solution architecture experience in banking, payments, digital banking, fintech, or regulated enterprise platforms;
-   Strong knowledge of cloud-native architecture, Azure, AKS, API gateways, microservices, event-driven architecture, and integration patterns;
-   Experience with identity, access management, API security, encryption, certificate management, observability, and operational architecture;
-   Ability to produce and govern HLDs, LLDs, integration designs, architecture decision records, and non-functional requirements;
-   Strong communication skills with both technical teams and senior stakeholders;
-   Ability to balance architecture governance with delivery pragmatism.

**Preferred Qualifications**

-   Experience with PSD2, SCA, OAuth2/OIDC, mTLS, SSL pinning, WAF, SIEM, and regulated payment architectures;

-   Familiarity with .NET, Java/Spring Boot or Quarkus, Kafka, Redis, MongoDB, SQL Server, and Kubernetes ecosystems;
-   Experience liaising with enterprise architecture teams in large organisations.
