## Description

**Our client URGENTLY requires a Senior Communications Advisor for a 7 months + Contract in Nerang.**

The **Senior Communications Advisor** will provide external engagement services for South Coast Region on external community engagement, public affairs, correspondence, media relations, issues management, and internal and external stakeholder relationship management across a major infrastructure program. You will represent the interests of the department, and its stakeholders in all forums that actively engage with members of the public.

 **Skills and Experience required includes:**

-   A degree in communications, public relations or marketing or equivalent years of work experience would be highly desirable.
-   Implement active community engagement, community relations and correspondence program by supporting the delivery of consistent and externally facing engagement and stakeholder management to a broad range of community stakeholders across the region.
-   Lead and coach a small team of customer and stakeholder staff to produce clear, concise and consistent high-quality collateral and information.
-   Experience in major infrastructure project environments and social media competency, will also be highly regarded.

**Government experience would be highly advantageous.**
