## Description

Quandela is a global leader in quantum computing, designing, building, and delivering cutting-edge quantum solutions for research and industry. Its offerings include the most energy-efficient quantum computers for data centers, full-stack quantum computing solutions accessible via the cloud, and algorithm access services for academic and industrial customers. Following a pragmatic, step-by-step roadmap, Quandela has been deploying industrial-grade systems since 2023 while developing future generations of fault-tolerant quantum computers capable of scaling through the integration of thousands of photonic components. Quandela is committed to making quantum computing accessible to all in order to address the most complex industrial and societal challenges.

Join Us at the Forefront of Quantum Computing Innovation 🚀

At Quandela, we're scaling up the manufacturing of our semiconductor, photonic and quantum products, moving from advanced R&D and low-volume production toward structured, scalable industrial operations. We're looking for a hands-on, cross-functional engineer who combines manufacturing expertise, project leadership and digital transformation skills. You'll build a coherent, traceable industrial framework across Front-End and Back-End operations, and make sure our ERP/MES deployment is driven by real manufacturing needs, not by the IT systems themselves.

### **Your Key Responsibilities**

- Lead cross-functional industrialization projects across Front-End (semiconductor and photonic wafer/device manufacturing) and Back-End (packaging, optical, cryogenic, electronic, mechanical and system integration)
- Structure projects with clear milestones, deliverables, responsibilities, risks and action plans, coordinating R&D, Engineering, Production, Quality, Methods, Supply Chain and IT
- Manage the transfer of new products and processes from R&D to qualified production: assess manufacturing maturity, define industrialization plans and production-release criteria, and support pilot runs and ramp-up
- Act as the Manufacturing lead for ERP and MES deployment, defining business requirements and workflows from a production perspective
- Specify BOM/mBOM, routings, work centers, standard times, production orders and WIP management in the ERP
- Define MES requirements for electronic travelers, Work Instructions, traceability, process and equipment data, test results, non-conformances and rework, and support configuration, UAT, key users and go-live
- Ensure end-to-end consistency from PLM to ERP, MES and production equipment, so that digital tools serve manufacturing processes rather than dictate them
- Lead PFMEA on critical processes, turn risks into Control Plans, support process and equipment qualification, and run Manufacturing Readiness Reviews before production release
- Contribute to DFMEA with R&D to make sure manufacturability is built in from the design stage
- Define end-to-end manufacturing flows, traceability and product genealogy requirements, and structure manufacturing change management
- Identify industrialization gaps and bottlenecks, support capacity and equipment investment decisions, and ensure solutions are compatible with future volumes and automation

## Requirements

- Engineering degree or Master's in Industrial, Manufacturing, Semiconductor or Systems Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 6 years of experience in industrialization, manufacturing engineering or manufacturing systems
- Hands-on experience with PFMEA, Control Plans, qualification and manufacturing readiness
- Strong cross-functional project management, including leading teams without direct authority
- Solid understanding of ERP manufacturing processes and MES principles
- Good command of manufacturing flows, BOM/mBOM, routings, traceability and production data
- Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder-management skills
- Fluent French and English

Nice to have

- Experience in semiconductor, photonic or high-tech manufacturing (cleanroom, wafer fab, Back-End integration)

- APQP, NPI or DfM/DfA methodologies

- Experience scaling low-volume, high-complexity production

## Benefits

- Competitive salary, flexible based on your experience
- Profit-sharing & company savings plan
- 100% health coverage (Alan)
- 50% transport reimbursement or sustainable mobility bonus
- Meal vouchers (Swile), Gymlib fitness support
- Childcare assistance & referral bonuses (€1,000–€2,000)

### What we offer:

- A meaningful role with real ownership, from day one
- A team eager to collaborate and grow with you
- A hybrid work model (3 days/week onsite in Massy, 1 day in Paris, 1 to 2 days remotely)
- Daily exposure to the entire quantum stack — from high-level APIs to low-level firmware, and everything in between.

### **Process**

- Talent Acquisition Interview (45')
- Hiring Manager Interview (45')
- Use Case (a live use case or one to be prepared at home and presented afterward)
- Meeting with the teams
- 2 reference check
- Offer

_(This process is provided for guidance only and may evolve depending on the roles)_

At Quandela, we believe that the strength of our team is the plurality of experiences, perspectives, and journeys. We are committed to building a respectful, inclusive, and welcoming work environment. All applications are welcome.
