## Description

**Job Description:**

-   Fulfills the duties of a Scrum Master, which covers:  
    o Enforce the rules of Scrum  
    o Helps the team to self-organize and work effectively within the Scrum framework  
    o Facilitates different events and makes it effective  
    o Helps keep a Development Team working at its highest level of productivity  
    o Protects the team from both internal and external distractions  
    o Holds the Scrum Team accountable to its working agreements, Scrum values, and to the Scrum framework itself
-   Researches and analyzes improvement opportunities; Conducts analysis, prepares recommendations, and facilitates efficiency enhancements
-   Facilitates refinement of business requirement documents and specifications in collaboration with System Analysts and Business Analysts
-   Analyzes data and works with management to develop creative solutions; Assists in the review of readiness and break down of stories supporting an iterative and incremental delivery model
-   Communicates and negotiates effectively with the business to clarify needs vs. wants/likes in order to balance business direction/requirements with cost of development as well as risks
-   Supports a positive and collaborative digital delivery culture with a philosophy of continuous improvement, development, innovation and excellence, while remaining in compliance with the bank’s policies and procedures and upholding the highest standards of professional conduct.

## Requirements

**Qualifications:**

-   **A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in software development or IT project management is required**
-   _Educational Attainment/ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related_
-   **Knowledge of Agile methodologies and Scrum framework**
-   Ability to facilitate and lead Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-up, sprint planning, retrospectives, etc.)
-   Good understanding of project management and experience in managing cross-functional teams
-   **Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC)**
-   **Knowledge of project management tools (JIRA, Trello, etc.)**
-   **Understanding of DevOps practices and tools**
-   **Knowledge of banking systems and regulations**
-   _Scrum certification (such as Professional Scrum Master, Certified Scrum Master, PMI Agile Certified Practitioner)_
