## Description

**Job Description:**

-   **Database Development:** Design and write efficient PL/SQL code, including **stored procedures, packages, functions, views, and database triggers**.
-   **Performance Tuning:** Analyze complex queries, build strategic indexes, use optimizer hints, and utilize tools like **AWR (Automatic Workload Repository), Explain Plan, and Profiler** to eliminate database bottlenecks.
-   **Data Architecture & Modeling:** Manage and design database schemas, tablespaces, entity-relationship diagrams (ERDs), and overall data structures to maintain data integrity.
-   **ETL and Data Migration:** Build automated batch jobs using data transformation routines to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from external flat files or legacy systems into target databases.
-   **Collaboration:** Work alongside data analysts, software engineering teams, and business stakeholders in an **Agile environment** to map business requirements into technical SQL logic.

## Requirements

**Qualifications:**

-   **Core Languages:** Mastery of advanced SQL (joins, subqueries, window functions) and expert-level PL/SQL programming.
-   **Database Management Systems:** Strong knowledge of **Oracle Database Architecture**. Familiarity with alternate relational databases (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL) is often a plus.
-   **Development Tools:** Proficiency using Integrated Development Environments (IDEs) like **Oracle SQL Developer, TOAD**, or ERwin for data modeling.
-   **Automation & Build Tools:** Experience with Unix/Linux shell scripting, scheduler tools (like Autosys), and ETL frameworks (like Informatica).
-   **Methodologies:** Practical understanding of Agile delivery frameworks, automated testing for database code, and CI/CD pipelines.
