**About the role**

We are seeking a motivated and analytical **Financial Analyst** to join our Finance team. This role is critical in supporting financial planning and analysis activities, providing insights to senior management, and contributing to strategic financial decision-making. The Financial Analyst will report to the Financial Controller and work closely with the Treasurer, Accounting and Costing Department to ensure accurate financial reporting and optimal cash flow management.

**The role main accountabilities will be the following:**

-   Assist in the preparation of financial reports, forecasts, and budgets for various departments.
-   Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings.
-   Support month-end and year-end financial close processes.
-   Prepare variance analysis and provide recommendations to improve financial performance.
-   Assist in developing financial models to support investment decisions, cost analyses, and forecasting.
-   Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on financial processes and procedures.
-   Ensure accurate and timely submission of reports to senior management, including the CFO and Treasurer.
-   Prepare ad-hoc financial analysis and reports as requested by senior management.

## Requirements

-   BSc degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. A relevant postgraduate degree or certification (e.g., ACCA, CFA) is a plus.
-   1-3 years of proven experience as a Financial Analyst or in a similar finance role, preferably in a large corporation, manufacturing environment, or a big audit firm will be considered as an asset.
-   Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and financial reporting.
-   Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial modeling and data analysis.
-   Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) or financial software is highly preferred.
-   Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
-   Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
-   Attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data.
-   Familiarity with audit processes and financial regulations is desirable.
