Our client is a software company.

The role

Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Design, build and own production software at the infrastructure layer of a software platform, working with a high degree of independence. The role blends hands-on engineering, deep troubleshooting and direct conversations with users about technical choices.

What you'll do

\- Write dependable, production-quality code for a cloud infrastructure platform.

\- Own work from initial design through release and live operation.

\- Troubleshoot at a low level, including inspecting servers and logs to identify root causes.

\- Review open-source code to diagnose problems in external libraries.

\- Work with teammates on anything that touches user environments and offer constructive input.

\- Propose and drive your own projects within short, two-week cycles.

\- Talk with users directly and bring product judgment to infrastructure decisions.

## Requirements

What we're looking for

\- 5 to 8 years of experience building software in startup settings, ideally as one of the earliest technical hires.

\- Proven record of delivering complete products and running systems you built in production.

\- Real enthusiasm for cloud infrastructure as a problem space.

\- Self-directed working style and comfort without a set process.

\- Skill at analyzing and fixing complex systems under time pressure.

\- Either a solid infrastructure background or outstanding generalist ability combined with strong interest in infrastructure.

Bonus points

\- Practical exposure to areas such as networking, container orchestration or distributed systems.

\- Experience launching products that gained significant adoption.

\- Experience building a new product or feature from scratch.

\- Ease with ambiguity and shifting between technical and strategic tasks.
