\- Collaborate with external manufacturers on the electronics and compute hardware for a larger production system.

\- Help guide decisions about high-speed data links between processors and evaluate optical alternatives.

\- Develop low-level code and supporting software for the payload as the need arises.

## Requirements

\- Solid grounding in high-speed digital design, including signal and power integrity.

\- Hands-on experience taking custom boards or system boards from schematic capture through high-speed layout, bring-up and debugging.

\- At least 1 year at a high-growth startup, with exposure to building things from zero.

\- A degree in electrical or computer engineering, or comparable practical experience.

\- Ability to work on-site five days a week in Los Angeles, CA.

\- Open to any level, from a promising new graduate to a veteran with 10+ years of experience.

Bonus points

\- Prior work at the silicon level on processors, accelerators or large custom chips.

\- A track record of working closely with outside electronics manufacturers.

\- Familiarity with optical networking or related data-communication technologies.
