The role

Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Own customer-facing technical projects from the first conversation through to production delivery. Blend hands-on software development with direct client communication, converting loosely defined needs into dependable working systems and shipping them quickly.

What you'll do

\- Partner directly with customers to turn vague needs into concrete technical plans and delivery timelines.

\- Design and implement bespoke software, machine learning components and scalable processing workflows for varied kinds of data.

\- Move between experimental prototypes and dependable production systems.

\- Decompose customer goals into the technical components, infrastructure and quality checks needed to deliver.

\- Improve speed and efficiency of workflows through concurrency, model tuning and iterative testing.

## Requirements

What we're looking for

\- Strong Python skills and a record of building data processing or machine learning systems.

\- Comfort working directly with customers or external teams to clarify requirements.

\- Good instincts for data integrity, curation and unusual cases.

\- Ability to move from prototype to reliable production code without leaving brittle systems behind.

\- 1 to 3 years shipping technical work in a startup or fast-paced environment.

\- Motivation to deliver complete end-to-end outcomes rather than only research code.

\- Interest in media technologies and cutting-edge AI applications.

Bonus points

\- Prior work with machine learning systems handling rich media data in production.

\- Experience operating data workflows at significant scale.

\- Production experience with PyTorch or a similar framework.

\- Open source contributions.

\- Experience as an early hire at a startup.
