Our client is a law firm.

The role

Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Manage the paralegal workload on complex commercial property matters, taking each deal from kickoff through post-closing follow-through. Partner closely with senior attorneys and operate with a high degree of autonomy.

What you'll do

\- Request and examine title commitments and surveys, and resolve title issues as they arise.

\- Draft closing documents, keep closing checklists current and coordinate the movement of funds.

\- Support purchases, sales, leases and financing transactions.

\- Carry out diligence reviews and prepare organizational paperwork and related certificates across several live matters at once.

\- Oversee post-closing recordings, filings and remaining action items.

\- Serve as a day-to-day contact for clients, the other side's lawyers and title agents, with limited supervision.

## Requirements

What we're looking for

\- At least 5 years of recent, uninterrupted commercial real estate paralegal work in a law firm setting.

\- Background in New Jersey real estate transactions.

\- Practical knowledge of title, survey and closing work, with the confidence to manage a closing on your own from start to finish.

\- Real estate understanding that extends past entry-level basics.

\- Exposure to both land use and transactional matters.

\- A steady track record of employment.

\- Meticulous accuracy and well-crafted written materials.

\- Availability to work on-site five days a week within a reasonable commute.
