Our client is an insurance company.

The role

Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Build full-stack product features as part of a small engineering team, combining hands-on coding with close work alongside non-engineering colleagues to understand how they operate. The role covers web front ends, backend services and AI-enabled features shipped to production, with ownership from design through delivery.

What you'll do

\- Build features end to end across front-end and back-end code.

\- Spend part of each week with internal users, mapping manual processes and turning them into software.

\- Build AI-driven features that run in production, treating language models and autonomous agents as core components.

\- Help shape the product roadmap alongside product managers and business stakeholders.

\- Use AI coding tools day to day, deciding when to write code by hand, particularly for access control and data modeling.

## Requirements

What we're looking for

\- 3 to 6 years of full-time software engineering experience after graduation, with internships excluded.

\- Background in full-stack product engineering, not infrastructure or CI/CD work alone.

\- Experience shipping AI features to production, such as language model or agent-based workflows, with a clear view on using AI in development.

\- Experience building user-facing platforms.

\- Hands-on experience with a modern TypeScript web and service stack, such as React and Node.js.

\- Experience at a technology firm or fast-growing company known for strict engineering standards.

\- Computer science degree from a strong program, with steady tenure at previous employers.

\- Experience working directly with end users or business teams to understand their workflows, with no prior insurance background needed.

\- A preference for shipping features over leading as a founding engineer or CTO.
