The role Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Build and extend backend-focused features for a web application, working alongside founders to shape system design, mentor peers and take clear ownership of a product area from the ground up. What you'll do \- Design and build core product features with broad scope and independence, alongside the founding leadership. \- Ship large feature work that drives direct business growth. \- Review code and technical designs to raise the quality of the whole engineering team. \- Become the go-to owner for a major part of the product. \- Interview, onboard and coach new engineers as the team expands. ## Requirements What we're looking for \- 4 or more years of professional software engineering experience. \- Strong backend engineering background, with prior experience as a founder considered a plus. \- Hands-on experience running mature production web codebases in Python and a modern JavaScript framework. \- Experience in a fast-paced startup environment. \- Formal training in an engineering discipline at the undergraduate or graduate level.
