Our client is a fast-growing real estate company.

The role

Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Design and build dependable, scalable backend services and APIs for a software platform. Partner with frontend, design and product colleagues on fast-moving challenges that must hold up at scale. Suited to an engineer who writes clean, readable code and enjoys performance work.

What you'll do

\- Create dependable application interfaces and server-side services that scale well.

\- Write clean, minimal code that others can easily follow.

\- Partner with frontend, design and product colleagues on shared features.

\- Tackle hard scaling challenges as they come up.

\- Work through core business problems the software must solve.

## Requirements

What we're looking for

\- Solid command of data structures and algorithms.

\- Track record of debugging, problem solving and removing performance bottlenecks.

\- Hands-on backend experience with Java on AWS.

\- Experience working at a fast-paced, high-growth startup.

\- Willingness to work alongside intelligence-assisted coding tools in everyday engineering.

\- Strong work ethic and the ability to contribute quickly.

\- Located in a U.S. time zone (Pacific, Mountain, Central or Eastern).

Bonus points

\- Experience writing concurrent code for multi-core servers.

\- Self-taught engineers are welcome.

\- Interest in the real estate industry.
