Our client is a fast-growing software company.

The role

Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Work as a generalist engineer across the full stack, delivering features from backend services through to the user interface. Collaborate closely with end users to refine the product and help build AI-driven software components. This is a high-ownership position in a very small, fast-moving engineering group.

What you'll do

\- Ship features end to end, from backend and infrastructure services to the frontend user experience.

\- Stay in regular contact with users, learn what they need and fold those insights into rapid product updates.

\- Build and refine AI-powered components using large language models.

\- Offer input that influences the direction of the product.

\- Take ownership of problems across the whole stack with minimal supervision.

## Requirements

What we're looking for

\- 1 to 4 years of engineering experience.

\- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and React.

\- Backend experience, not solely frontend work.

\- Experience at an early-stage startup, ideally through a period of growth; big tech candidates considered if they show clear startup intent and a drive to build from zero to one.

\- Demonstrated interest in AI and large language models through work or personal projects.

\- A computer science degree or equivalent technical background with solid fundamentals.

\- High agency and the ability to ramp up within a month with little hand-holding.

\- Willingness to work in person five days a week; relocation is fine.

\- Existing work authorization is required; transfers are accepted.

Bonus points

\- Background as an early engineer or founder at a startup.

\- Infrastructure, DevOps or SRE experience.

\- Experience with browser automation, developer tools or QA.

\- Degree from a top computer science program.
