The role

Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Lead talent acquisition as the organization's initial recruiting specialist, covering a wide range of technical and operational functions. Work side by side with senior leadership to establish hiring practices and expand headcount as the business enters a major growth stage.

What you'll do

\- Find and evaluate candidates, handling initial screening conversations for positions spanning technical, scientific, plant and public-sector functions.

\- Run the hiring process end to end, from early outreach to extending offers, with a focus on a quick and positive candidate experience.

\- Create and continually improve recruiting workflows, tools and new-hire onboarding from scratch.

\- Collaborate with company leaders and domain experts to understand specialized positions and agree on what a strong candidate looks like.

\- Develop talent pipelines that cover both current vacancies and anticipated staffing needs as operations expand to round-the-clock schedules.

## Requirements

What we're looking for

\- Roughly 5 to 8 years of recruiting experience.

\- A background hiring for hands-on engineering, scientific and operations-focused positions, beyond software alone.

\- Experience helping young or rapidly scaling companies build out their workforce.

\- Strong command of the whole hiring lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, scheduling and closing candidates.

\- Working knowledge of applicant tracking systems.

\- Comfort partnering with founders and technical stakeholders.

\- An adaptable, quick-moving, hands-on style that fits a lean, results-focused setting.

\- Ability to work on-site five days a week.

\- Experience using AI-assisted tools to automate recruiting tasks.
