Our client is a healthcare technology company.

The role

Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Build and own backend software for a software platform, while also shaping the product itself by talking to users, deciding what to build and shipping it without detailed direction. Work daily with senior leadership at an early-stage company, moving quickly and applying current AI tooling.

What you'll do

\- Build backend services and core features across a software platform.

\- Take on product management, design and user research duties, including speaking with customers and deciding what to build and how.

\- Reduce technical debt and ease customer onboarding so sales efforts can keep moving.

\- Research, experiment with and ship applied AI capabilities at a fast pace.

\- Work directly with senior company leaders on product direction and delivery.

## Requirements

What we're looking for

\- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field such as EECS.

\- About 2 to 7 years of professional experience, with practical experience mattering more than school.

\- Strong backend engineering skills, ideally in early-stage or fast-scaling environments.

\- Real product and UX judgment, with the ability to understand users and ship without step-by-step direction.

\- Daily use of AI tools to build products.

\- Fast learner who wants significantly more ownership than a current role provides.

\- Genuine motivation to work on problems in healthcare and to thrive at startup speed.

Bonus points

\- Background at a startup, from early stage through later growth stage.

\- Experience at a top-tier large technology company, paired with a clear motivation to join an early-stage team.

\- Roughly a year of product management experience alongside engineering.
