Our client is a software company.

The role

Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Work across the stack to build and maintain internal platform infrastructure, shipping features quickly with a high degree of autonomy. This is a hands-on individual contributor role focused on turning open-ended problems into working solutions and partnering closely with a research group.

What you'll do

\- Build and maintain a platform, including libraries, a web application, cloud infrastructure and supporting tooling.

\- Work as a generalist, delivering backend services and frontend features according to team priorities.

\- Take ambiguous problems and independently design, build and ship solutions.

\- Perform code and architecture reviews for fellow engineers.

\- Partner closely with researchers so the infrastructure meets their needs.

## Requirements

What we're looking for

\- 2 to 6 years of software engineering experience.

\- Experience taking new products from zero to one at a large technology company, a startup, or as a founder.

\- Comfort working in a fast-moving, high-autonomy environment.

\- A clear mark of excellence, such as a strong employer, interesting research, a notable academic background or a compelling project.

Bonus points

\- Entrepreneurial or early-stage company background.

\- A track record of delivering substantial software in live environments.

\- Professional experience with Python.

\- Frontend experience with React and TypeScript.

\- A computer science degree from a highly regarded university program.
