Our client is a financial services firm.

The role

Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Join a very small engineering group as a full-stack developer, supporting and growing internal web applications and data systems, and creating new ones. You will pair daily with the engineering lead and take on wider ownership over time. Curiosity about how software supports analytical work matters more than prior domain knowledge.

What you'll do

\- Maintain and improve existing internal applications and data systems.

\- Add new capabilities to current tools as needs change.

\- Design and create new internal applications.

\- Automate routine processes with scripts.

\- Query and shape data in relational databases for production use.

\- Work side by side with the engineering lead and gradually take on more scope.

## Requirements

What we're looking for

\- Comfortable scripting and automating tasks in Python.

\- Solid working knowledge of a modern TypeScript web framework and its common supporting libraries, or closely comparable tools.

\- Hands-on background with relational databases and dependable, production-grade queries.

\- Bachelor's degree in computer science with a GPA above 3.0.

\- Willingness to work on-site four days a week, with Friday remote.

\- Self-directed, detail-oriented, efficient and happy working on a small team.

Bonus points

\- Prior work integrating large language model services into automated or multi-step workflows.

\- Exposure to cloud hosting and deployment automation.

\- Experience in finance, fintech or a quantitative setting, including related coursework.
