Our client is a financial services company.

The role

Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Lead the scaling and architecture of core backend systems, tuning performance and building high-throughput services hands-on. You will also shape the technical foundation for new AI-driven features.

What you'll do

\- Lead the scaling of core backend systems and their service architecture.

\- Improve performance across services, data stores and integrations.

\- Design and build high-throughput backend solutions hands-on.

\- Build the technical groundwork for AI-driven product features.

## Requirements

What we're looking for

\- A history of growing server-side platforms that span data stores, cloud infrastructure and external connections.

\- Deep experience running relational databases at scale, particularly PostgreSQL.

\- Production experience with AWS, including architecting, deploying and operating systems.

\- Experience at a high-growth technology company and comfort with startup-style ownership.

\- Comfortable with demanding schedules and being reachable beyond the usual workday when work requires it.

Bonus points

\- Experience with Java-based backend frameworks or comparable backend frameworks.
