Our client is a fast-growing financial technology company.

The role

Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Lead a new marketplace business line from zero, owning its commercial strategy, partner relationships and revenue model. The role blends product and operations thinking with hands-on deal-making, and calls for a self-directed operator who is comfortable running a P&L and travelling frequently.

What you'll do

\- Launch and grow a new marketplace from scratch, including solving early supply and demand challenges.

\- Build and manage partner relationships, from small local providers to large national retailers, favoring depth over breadth.

\- Shape how offerings are presented in the app to influence customer purchase decisions.

\- Design commission and take-rate structures with partners to develop a revenue line.

\- Run your own experiments to test ideas and improve conversion and commercial terms.

\- Travel frequently to meet partners and build local presence.

## Requirements

What we're looking for

\- Experience running a new business line or market launch from zero, with comfort owning a P&L and working with the numbers.

\- Strong instincts for early-stage marketplace growth and distribution to small businesses.

\- Confident, personable communication style with external partners.

\- A blend of product and operations thinking, including in-app conversion and commercial terms.

\- A track record of self-initiated experiments and projects, rather than only assigned work.

\- High energy, autonomy and a strong sense of ownership.

\- Comfort with AI tools as a way to work faster.

\- 1 to 6 years of relevant experience.

Bonus points

\- Prior founder experience, especially building consumer products.

\- Background at a high-growth consumer marketplace or ride-sharing company.
