The role

Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Own client relationships and shape ambiguous operational challenges into well-defined technical projects, working in a small cross-functional team beside engineers. Blend business analysis, planning and light hands-on data work to keep delivery moving in an early-stage setting.

What you'll do

\- Build a firsthand understanding of how client operations run through close engagement and quick workflow mapping.

\- Rank and shape candidate projects, document what each one needs and outline workable approaches for client teams.

\- Partner with engineers so business goals become clear technical deliverables on realistic schedules.

\- Keep project boundaries steady and stakeholders aligned as client engagements evolve.

\- Take on hands-on analytical tasks, such as working with datasets and integrations, so progress does not stall waiting on others.

## Requirements

What we're looking for

\- Prior experience as a technical product manager.

\- A track record of working directly with clients in established, physical-world sectors rather than only consumer technology.

\- Ability to break down client workflows and convert messy business needs into clear technical specifications.

\- Clear evidence of exceptional problem-solving, such as strong academic credentials, competitive achievements or standout performance.

\- Comfort with ambiguity and early-stage, zero-to-one environments.

\- Willingness to travel extensively to client sites.

\- Ability to work on-site in Chicago, IL, or willingness to relocate.

Bonus points

\- Product management experience at industrial or real-world technology companies.

\- Startup or co-founder experience.

\- A quantitative degree such as math, engineering, economics or computer science.

\- Working familiarity with APIs and the ability to do basic data analysis independently.

\- Background in operations or supply chain topics.
