Our client is a fast-growing software company.

The role

Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Own the delivery of product capabilities that span user interfaces and server-side logic, taking work from initial concept through release and ongoing improvement. Partner with a multidisciplinary group in an on-site setting and start shipping to production within a few weeks of joining.

What you'll do

\- Create new product capabilities from the ground up on both the client and server sides.

\- Architect and maintain dependable server-side components, integrations and data flows that support the application.

\- Release changes frequently in short iteration cycles, with early contributions to the live product.

\- Work alongside fellow engineers, product managers, designers and data scientists to turn intricate domain processes into polished, responsive software.

\- Carry features through deployment, refinement and growth in usage.

## Requirements

What we're looking for

\- A track record of helping build products at young, rapidly growing companies, ideally as a founder or among the first employees.

\- Hands-on responsibility for live software relied on by paying users.

\- Background designing systems that handle growth, with solid database and data-heavy application knowledge.

\- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a STEM field or a related technical area.

\- Strong command of Python and React.

\- Experience creating server-side services and web APIs.

\- Curiosity and eagerness to learn the product and its problem area in depth.

\- A positive, collaborative style that suits a close-knit, highly communicative office environment.

\- Based in or willing to relocate to San Francisco and work in the office 4 to 5 days per week.

Bonus points

\- Exposure to the Django framework.

\- Knowledge of GraphQL and cloud platforms.

\- Interest in the life sciences.
