The role Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Handle a docket of complex civil disputes from the first filing through motion practice and discovery. You will join a close-knit group of attorneys and be trusted to work independently and respond promptly to clients. What you'll do \- Manage complex, multi-party disputes across California. \- Prepare pleadings, motions and briefs. \- Draft written discovery requests and responses and guide the discovery process. \- Research legal issues and support motion practice. \- Take and defend depositions as matters require. \- Work alongside fellow attorneys on a busy caseload. \- Produce polished written work on time and in line with what clients expect. ## Requirements What we're looking for \- At least 5 years of civil litigation practice at a law firm, able to contribute from day one. \- Current admission to the State Bar of California. \- A law degree and a strong record of academic achievement. \- Solid background in motions and written discovery. \- Experience with complex matters involving several parties. \- Clear, persuasive writing and sharp analytical skills. \- A service-minded approach and quick responsiveness to clients. \- Comfort working in a high-volume, quick-moving team. \- Readiness to share academic transcripts and a sample of your writing.
