The role Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Join a small leadership-led team as its initial commercial specialist, generating sales opportunities and supporting deals through to signature. The work blends proactive outreach, in-person event presence and sales operations upkeep. What you'll do \- Reach out to prospective buyers by phone and email, then follow up to hand qualified opportunities to senior leaders for closing. \- Staff booths and meet prospects in person at industry events, traveling regularly. \- Help produce and maintain marketing materials such as web content, case studies and campaign assets. \- Assist senior leaders at each stage of the sales process, including demos and proposals. \- Maintain CRM records, track the pipeline and prepare regular reports. ## Requirements What we're looking for \- Roughly 1.5 to 5 years in sales development, business development, marketing or commercial operations, preferably within a young company. \- Working knowledge of technical fields such as IT infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity or identity, enough to earn credibility with technical buyers. \- Background selling to or supporting smaller business customers rather than only very large organizations. \- Track record of generating new pipeline through proactive outreach and post-event engagement. \- Comfort with customer-facing work, regular travel of one to two trips a month, and flexible responsibilities across functions. \- Residence in San Francisco and willingness to work on-site five days a week. ## Benefits Compensation and benefits \- Base salary: USD 100,000 to 130,000 per year \- Equity Location and work model \- San Francisco, CA, United States \- On-site, 5 days per week in office \- Full-time ## Apply [Apply at Raydar](https://apply.workable.com/raydar/j/977FFE33BA/apply) --- Powered by [Workable](https://www.workable.com)
