Our client is a fast-growing software company.

The role

Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Lead a technical area from design through delivery as a senior individual contributor who also guides others. You will design and build systems, raise the engineering standard through your own work, and partner with a product counterpart on results.

What you'll do

\- Design the architecture for your area and write production code yourself.

\- Set the quality and delivery standard through shipping and code review.

\- Guide and unblock engineers and leads, growing the technical strength of the team.

\- Run a small engineering group directly and join a regular senior leadership forum.

\- Work alongside a product partner as an equal to deliver measurable results.

\- Build with current large language models and make AI-assisted development tools a normal part of the team's routine.

## Requirements

What we're looking for

\- Time spent at a startup during a period of rapid scaling, contributing something durable as it grew.

\- Regular, in-depth use of modern AI coding assistants in your own daily work.

\- Track record of taking a significant system or product from an initial idea to production.

\- Production experience building LLM-based agents, ideally conversational or voice, beyond a recent side project or about a year of exposure.

\- Strong engineering fundamentals, ideally with Node.js and Python.

Bonus points

\- Background as a technical founder who grew a product.

\- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.

\- Master's or PhD in a related field.
