## Description

About the company

Our client is a fast-growing software company.

The role

Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Lead employer branding and community programming that draws strong candidates to the business. The work centers on organizing small, high-touch gatherings, representing the company in the local tech community, and shaping social content that supports hiring.

What you'll do

\- Organize and host roughly one small, relationship-focused event each week, such as happy hours, dinners and community meetups, which make up about 60% of the role.

\- Research local tech gatherings and communities worth joining, and get colleagues into those rooms.

\- Shape the messaging that explains why people should work here and keep a regular flow of posts on professional and social networks.

\- Write copy and set the creative direction for hiring content, working with partner teams that handle production.

\- Run internal culture events that bring a growing team together.

\- Occasionally lead larger events such as hackathons and public activations, with a resourceful and design-conscious approach.

## Requirements

What we're looking for

\- 5+ years of relevant experience.

\- Strong sense of ownership and drive, taking an unpolished idea and running it end to end without waiting for layers of sign-off.

\- Hands-on history of personally running hosted community or recruiting events at a high-growth tech company or venture firm, beyond managing budgets and vendors.

\- A strong network in the San Francisco tech and startup community, and a knack for finding where the best networking gatherings take place.

\- Experience on the community or events side of a well-regarded tech startup or venture firm.

\- A portfolio or personal site that demonstrates a strong eye for design and brand.

\- Excellent writing and creative direction skills for regular hiring-focused content on LinkedIn and X.

\- Practical knowledge of how recruiting works and what draws candidates in.

\- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 25-30% of the time.

\- Must already live in the San Francisco area; no relocation support.
