About the company

Our client is a fast-growing software company.

The role

Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Lead the creation of a cross-platform mobile application from the ground up, setting technical direction and delivering it to both major mobile app stores. The work spans client and server code, in close partnership with product, design and company leadership.

What you'll do

\- Take full ownership of a mobile app, from early design through release on iOS and Android.

\- Lay the groundwork for code structure, reusable UI building blocks, automated testing, release pipelines and performance targets for a future mobile team.

\- Deliver responsive, AI-enabled features that rely on high-volume backend services, contributing beyond the client layer when needed.

\- Connect the app with external third-party platform and storefront APIs.

\- Work with product, design and leadership to shape priorities and keep reliability standards high.

## Requirements

What we're looking for

\- 5+ years of professional mobile development experience.

\- Advanced hands-on skill with React Native across iOS and Android.

\- Proven history of releasing polished, well-built apps that real users download from the App Store.

\- Solid grasp of app structure, screen navigation, state handling and differences between mobile operating systems.

\- Familiarity with distributed backend systems.

\- Experience consuming third-party APIs and delivering live, data-heavy functionality.

\- Self-starting attitude and willingness to own work beyond the front end.

\- A university degree.

\- Current US work authorization.

Bonus points

\- Experience at an early-stage company, building products from scratch or holding broad ownership.

\- Exposure to consumer platforms or online retail technology.

\- Time spent at respected technology companies.
