The role Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Partner closely with client teams on-site to learn how their work gets done, then build software that makes those processes faster and easier. Carry projects from initial scoping through release and refinement, and bring field insights back to shape the core product. Scope and autonomy vary with seniority. What you'll do \- Work on-site alongside client staff to learn how they operate, where time is lost and what frustrates them. \- Build working software that streamlines and automates their routine tasks. \- Extend the core platform to support additional use cases. \- Ship AI-enabled features that take over repetitive manual effort. \- Refine solutions quickly using feedback from people using them in production. \- Support clients moving off outdated systems onto modern, scalable ones. \- Own each project end to end, from defining the problem to launch and follow-up. \- Share what you learn with product and engineering colleagues to improve later rollouts and inform product direction. \- Spend roughly 70% of your time building and shipping and 30% with clients and teammates. ## Requirements What we're looking for \- Experience creating new products from scratch, such as founding a company or being an early engineer at a startup. \- Solid system design skills and the ability to turn client needs into scalable technical solutions. \- Hands-on technical work directly with clients to uncover needs and build solutions, beyond support or configuration tasks. \- Strong command of TypeScript and React, plus familiarity with current programming languages and AI tooling. \- A computer science degree for candidates with up to 3 years of experience; more senior candidates can instead show a track record of technical projects and professional work. \- Willingness to travel about 3-4 days per month to client sites. \- Based in or willing to relocate to San Francisco. \- Prior time at startups with strong investor support. \- Senior level: roughly 3-5+ years of experience, ownership of architecture, comfort with unclear problems and accountability for the hardest parts of a rollout while lifting the standard for teammates.
