Our client is a fast-growing software company.

The role

Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Blend product design with front-end engineering, carrying user-facing features from early concept through production release. Partner directly with company leadership and end users to convert feedback into polished experiences for people without a technical background.

What you'll do

\- Design and build production interfaces for complex, multi-step workflows so they feel simple to people without technical training.

\- Join customer calls, collect usability requests first-hand and turn them into shipped improvements.

\- Own new product flows from zero to one, from first concept through launch.

\- Work side by side with the founders and a small team where design capacity is a key constraint.

\- Produce designs in a design tool and, where possible, commit code changes directly to the codebase.

## Requirements

What we're looking for

\- Prior startup experience, either as a founder or as an early design engineer.

\- Comfort working with TypeScript and React, along with HTML and CSS.

\- Sound taste in interface and product design, grounded in a software engineering background.

\- A track record of taking whole products from idea to launch.

\- A portfolio showing work you personally conceived, built and released.

\- Ability to work on-site five days a week.

Bonus points

\- Hands-on experience committing changes to a production codebase.

\- Top university background.
