## Description

About the company

Our client is a fast-growing Series A compliance software company that uses AI to help investment advisers and broker-dealers monitor communications, marketing, accounts and filings for regulatory risk. It has about $11 million in ARR and a team of about 60, and it is growing quickly.

The role

Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. You will join a small engineering team as a hands-on senior engineer who owns product work end to end. The role leans backend, though it may reach into full stack. \- Ship a first change to production in your first days.

\- Implement a significant feature that drives new revenue in your first month.

\- Become the owner of a domain within the product.

\- Help the team through code review and technical design review.

\- Build mostly in Python (Django) on AWS, working closely with product, customer success and the founders.

\- Train and help hire new team members as the team scales.

## Requirements

What we're looking for

\- Experience designing backend architecture and data models for production systems.

\- Experience owning products end to end.

\- Strong experience with Python.

\- 3 or more years of professional software engineering experience.

\- Clear, organized communication and strong problem solving.

\- A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related field.

## Benefits

Compensation and benefits

\- Base salary: USD 200,000 to 250,000 per year

\- Competitive equity

\- Comprehensive benefits, including a 401(k) match

\- Very few meetings, broad scope and high autonomy

Location and work model

\- New York, NY, United States

\- On-site, five days a week

\- Full-time

\- U.S. work authorization is required
