### Position Details

-   **Start Date:** Immediate, upon completion of recruitment and onboarding
-   **Location:** 100% remote — must be based in South Africa
-   **Students:** Young learners aged 4–16, based in China, proficiency A1–C1
-   **Class Type:** One-on-one and one-on-two (max two learners per class)
-   **Language of Instruction:** English
-   **Platform:** ClassIn
-   **Rate:** US$6.50 per hour
-   **Class Duration:** 25 minutes (regular); 21–25 minutes (demo)
-   **Contract Type:** Independent Contractor (remote)
-   **Hours:** Minimum 14 hours per week, within the teaching window of **12:00–15:30 SAST (18:00–21:30 BJT), Monday to Sunday.** You decide how to spread your hours — up to a maximum of six days a week.
-   **Bookings:** Hours run on student bookings rather than fixed guaranteed hours. Reliable teachers with regular students tend to build steady, recurring schedules.

## Requirements

-   Completed National Diploma (tertiary) in any field
-   Accredited 120-hour TEFL, TESOL, CELTA or equivalent certification
-   Minimum 1 year of teaching experience
-   Clear, effective spoken English
-   A consistent weekly availability you can genuinely commit to — this client values a stable schedule, not week-to-week chopping and changing
