### **About the Role**

Our client is seeking a **Licensed Surveyor** to join their team in **El Paso, Texas**. The ideal candidate will have **5+ years of experience post-licensure** in all phases of **land surveying, construction, boundary, and topographic surveying**. This role will involve managing survey staff, overseeing projects, and ensuring the highest quality standards in **surveying and mapping services**.

### **Duties & Responsibilities** 📌

✅ **Manage & Support Survey Staff:** Oversee and lead a team of **5 senior Survey Party Chiefs** with assistants.  
✅ **Project Oversight:** Provide project management and technical expertise for **topographic mapping (drone & ground), platting, boundary, ALTA, and construction staking**.  
✅ **Equipment Management:** Maintain and manage all surveying instruments, including **drones, scanners, robotic total stations, GPS equipment, and data collectors**.  
✅ **Technical Expertise:** Operate **Trimble field equipment** and data collector software.  
✅ **CADD Drafting & Plat Preparation:** Manage **CADD drafting efforts** and finalize plats for public and private clients.  
✅ **Survey Data Handling:** Upload/download survey data from field teams.  
✅ **Drone & Topographic Surveys:** Oversee **drone ortho-image and topographic survey projects**.  
✅ **Mentorship & Training:** Train and mentor junior survey staff while ensuring quality control.  
✅ **Vehicle & Equipment Maintenance:** Ensure safe operation and maintenance of vehicles, tools, and survey equipment.  
✅ **AutoCAD Support:** Assist in preparing survey drawings using **AutoCAD software**.  
✅ **Additional Duties:** Perform other responsibilities as needed.

## Requirements

### **Qualifications** 🎓

✔ **Texas RPLS Licensure** with **5+ years of experience** (or ability to obtain licensure).  
✔ Associate’s Degree in a related field.  
✔ Strong **working knowledge of surveying practices**.  
✔ Ability to **manage survey crews** performing **topographic, boundary, and construction staking**.  
✔ Proficiency in **Trimble Robotic Total Stations, GPS equipment, data collectors, and digital levels**.  
✔ Experience with **Trimble Business Center, Autodesk Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.)**.  
✔ **Excellent written & verbal communication skills**.  
✔ **Highly motivated** team player with leadership abilities.  
✔ **Valid Driver’s License**.
