## Description

We're hiring an entry-level RF Technician to support Emergency Responder Radio Communication Systems (ERRCS) and Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS). You'll work alongside a Lead Technician on annual inspections, troubleshooting, and remediation work, learning the trade hands-on.

This is a good fit if you have a foundation in RF theory and want a clear path to grow in wireless communications.

## Requirements

-   Basic knowledge of RF theory and electrical principles
-   Ability to read general wiring schematics
-   Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
-   Familiarity with, or willingness to learn, RF test equipment
-   Clear communication and teamwork skills
-   Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to HQ/job sites
-   Able to climb ladders, lift up to 50 lbs, and walk long distances on job sites
-   Able to work at heights and in tight spaces such as ceilings, rooftops, and mechanical rooms

 **What you'll do**

-   Assist the Lead Technician with annual inspections, system setup, and troubleshooting
-   Support remediation work on ERRCS/DAS systems
-   Conduct grid walks and signal coverage testing under supervision
-   Learn to use RF test equipment, such as spectrum analyzers and antenna/line sweepers
-   Read and interpret wiring schematics and system diagrams
-   Learn RF math, grounding principles, and commissioning processes
-   Learn county and fire authority guidelines for ERRCS installations
-   Document findings and keep accurate test records

**Nice to have**

-   Coursework or training in electronics, telecom, or a military technical background
-   Low-voltage, cabling, or telecom experience
-   FCC GROL or similar certification
