## Description

**Salary: R23 000 – R25 000 per month**

Remote Recruitment is hiring an SEO Assistant for a UK-based employer, fully remote from South Africa, owning day-to-day SEO monitoring and reporting.

**Role overview**

You will support the marketing team with keyword research, on-page optimisation and performance tracking.

**Key responsibilities**

-   Support keyword research and on-page SEO optimisation
-   Monitor rankings and website performance using Google Analytics and Search Console
-   Assist with technical SEO audits and fixes
-   Help maintain SEO reporting dashboards
-   Support content teams with SEO best practices
-   Track competitor SEO activity

**What you will need**

-   Experience with or strong interest in SEO fundamentals
-   Familiarity with Google Analytics or Google Search Console
-   Experience with basic keyword research tools
-   Strong attention to detail
-   Comfortable working UK business hours

**Nice to have**

-   Experience with WordPress
-   Familiarity with SEO tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs, or SE Ranking)
-   Basic understanding of Google Ads or PPC
