**Role overview**

Remote Recruitment is looking for a Social Media Assistant to support a UK-based employer as part of a fully remote team. You will help keep social channels active, engaging and on-brand. This is a 100% remote role for creative South African talent, working UK business hours (09:00–17:00 UK time / 11:00–19:00 SAST).

**Key responsibilities**

-   Schedule and publish posts across platforms like Instagram, LinkedIn and Facebook
-   Draft captions and source or edit simple visuals
-   Monitor comments and messages, and reply in the brand voice
-   Track basic performance and report on what's working
-   Help plan content calendars with the marketing team

**What you'll need**

-   Experience with social media or content support
-   Familiarity with scheduling tools and Canva
-   Good written English and an eye for detail
-   A creative, organised approach
-   A quiet home workspace with reliable internet
