**Salary: R23 000 – R25 000 per month**

Remote Recruitment is hiring an **E-commerce Assistant** for a UK-based employer, fully remote from South Africa.

**Role overview**

You'll keep a UK online store running day to day — loading products, keeping listings accurate, processing orders and handling the customer queries that come with them.

The store changes daily — new lines, price moves, promotions and returns. You will keep all of it accurate so customers see the right product at the right price.

You will work UK business hours from home, as part of a South African team placed directly with established UK employers.

**Key responsibilities**

-   Create and update product listings, images and descriptions
-   Keep pricing, stock levels and categories accurate across the store
-   Process orders, returns and refunds
-   Respond to customer queries about orders and products
-   Support promotions, discount codes and seasonal campaigns
-   Report on sales, traffic and best-selling lines

**What you'll need**

-   Experience with an e-commerce platform such as Shopify, WooCommerce or Magento
-   Confident writing clear, accurate product copy
-   Comfortable in Excel or Google Sheets for bulk product uploads
-   Attention to detail on pricing, stock and product data
-   Customer-focused written English

**Nice to have**

-   Exposure to marketplaces such as Amazon or eBay
-   Basic image editing in Canva or Photoshop
-   Familiarity with Google Analytics
