## Description

**Salary: R23 000 – R25 000 per month**

Remote Recruitment is hiring a Customer Service Agent for a UK-based employer, fully remote from South Africa. You will own customer queries from first contact to resolution.

**Role overview**

You will be the friendly voice of a UK business, helping customers by email, chat and phone and solving problems the first time. This is a full-time, 100% remote role for South African talent, working UK hours: 09:00-17:00 UK time (11:00-19:00 SAST).

**Key responsibilities**

-   Answer customer queries by email, chat and phone
-   Log and track cases in the helpdesk system
-   Resolve issues or escalate with clear notes
-   Process orders, returns and account changes
-   Share feedback that helps improve the service

**What you'll need**

-   Experience in customer service or support
-   Clear, friendly written and spoken English
-   Experience with a helpdesk tool such as Zendesk or Freshdesk
-   Calm approach when handling complaints
-   Able to work 09:00-17:00 UK time (11:00-19:00 SAST)

**Nice to have**

-   Experience with live chat tools
-   Familiarity with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify
-   Previous work with UK customers
