## Description

**Salary: R23 000 – R25 000 per month**

Remote Recruitment is hiring an Accounts Receivable Clerk for a UK-based employer, fully remote from South Africa.

**Role overview**

You'll keep a UK finance team's debtor book healthy, chasing payments and keeping records accurate and up to date.

**Key responsibilities**

-   Raise and issue customer invoices accurately
-   Chase overdue payments and update the debtor ledger
-   Reconcile customer accounts against payments received
-   Respond to customer queries about invoices and statements
-   Report on outstanding balances to the finance team

**What you'll need**

-   Experience with Xero or similar accounting software
-   Experience in an accounts receivable or credit control role
-   Strong attention to detail with numbers
-   Reliable home internet and a quiet space for UK-hours work
-   Confident, professional communication when chasing payments

**Nice to have**

-   Experience with multi-currency invoicing
-   Familiarity with credit control processes
-   Prior remote finance support experience
