## Description

**Salary: R23 000 – R25 000 per month**

Remote Recruitment is hiring a Call Centre Agent for a UK-based employer, fully remote from South Africa. You'll own inbound and outbound calls for a UK customer base, resolving queries on the first contact.

**Role overview**

You will be the voice of a UK business on the phone. You will handle a steady flow of customer calls, log every interaction and make sure each caller leaves with an answer or a clear next step. Full training on the client's systems and products is provided in your first weeks. You will work UK hours, 09:00–17:00 UK (11:00–19:00 SAST), Monday to Friday.

You will join the client's existing team from day one, with a named manager in the UK, regular check-ins over video call and clear goals so you always know how you are doing.

**Key responsibilities**

-   Handle inbound calls about orders, accounts and service queries
-   Make scheduled outbound follow-up calls
-   Log every call accurately in the CRM
-   Resolve issues on the first call where possible and escalate the rest
-   Meet call quality and response-time targets

**What you'll need**

-   At least 1 year in a call centre or phone-based customer service role
-   Experience logging calls in a CRM or ticketing system such as Salesforce or Zendesk
-   Clear spoken and written English suited to UK customers
-   Reliable home internet, a headset and a quiet workspace
-   Availability for UK hours, Monday to Friday

**Nice to have**

-   Experience supporting UK customers
-   Familiarity with telephony platforms such as RingCentral or Aircall
