**Salary: R29 000 - R32 000 per month**

Remote Recruitment is hiring a Finance Administrator for a UK employer, fully remote from South Africa.

**Role overview**

You will keep the ledger clean and month-end on time for a growing UK finance team. It suits someone organised who likes tidy books, clear numbers and a close that lands when it should. You will own the routine work end to end rather than picking up fragments of it.

You will work 09:00-17:00 UK time (11:00-19:00 SAST) from home, with equipment guidance, a proper induction and a manager who is contactable through the day. This is a permanent role, not a short contract.

**Key responsibilities**

-   Process supplier and customer invoices accurately and on schedule
-   Reconcile bank, supplier and customer accounts each month
-   Maintain the purchase and sales ledgers
-   Prepare month-end reports and support the year-end audit pack
-   Resolve billing and payment queries by email and phone
-   Flag variances and cash-flow risks early to the finance lead

**What you'll need**

-   Two or more years in a finance administration or bookkeeping role
-   Experience with Xero, Sage or QuickBooks
-   Comfortable in Excel with formulas, filters and pivot tables
-   A track record of accurate reconciliations with a clear audit trail
-   Reliable home internet and a quiet space for UK-hours work

**Nice to have**

-   Familiarity with UK VAT returns
-   Exposure to multi-currency ledgers
-   Experience supporting a month-end close
