**Salary: R29 000 per month**

Remote Recruitment is hiring an IT Helpdesk Agent to support a UK employer's staff from South Africa. You will be the first person people reach when something stops working, and the reason they get back to work quickly.

Good first-line support is half diagnosis and half reassurance. This role suits someone who can do both without making anyone feel foolish for asking.

### Key Responsibilities

-   Respond to first-line support requests by phone, email and chat.
-   Diagnose and resolve common hardware, software and account issues.
-   Log and track tickets through to resolution.
-   Escalate complex problems with clear, complete notes.
-   Guide users through fixes in plain language.
-   Maintain documentation so recurring issues get faster to solve.

### What You Will Need

-   Experience in IT support or a helpdesk role.
-   Familiarity with Windows, Microsoft 365 and common ticketing tools.
-   Clear spoken and written English.
-   Patience and genuine problem-solving instincts.
-   A reliable laptop and stable connection.

### Working Hours

-   Full-time position.
-   Fully remote, based in South Africa.
-   09:00–17:00 UK time (11:00–19:00 SAST).
