**Salary: R23 000 – R25 000 per month**

Remote Recruitment is hiring an Accounts Payable Clerk for a UK-based employer, fully remote from South Africa.

**Role overview**

You'll keep supplier payments accurate and on time for a UK finance team, processing invoices and reconciling accounts each week.

**Key responsibilities**

-   Process supplier invoices accurately and on schedule
-   Match invoices to purchase orders and resolve discrepancies
-   Reconcile supplier statements against the ledger
-   Prepare payment runs for approval
-   Respond to supplier queries about payment status

**What you'll need**

-   Experience with Sage or Xero
-   Experience processing invoices in an accounts payable role
-   Strong attention to detail with numbers
-   Reliable home internet and a quiet space for UK-hours work
-   Comfort reconciling accounts against supplier statements

**Nice to have**

-   Experience with multi-currency invoicing
-   Familiarity with purchase order systems
-   Prior remote finance support experience
